Week 6 DFI

Nau mai ngā hua o Te Tahi o Pipiri, ā, o te tau hōu Māori ki a tātou katoa. Been a busy few days here at school but everything is going well.

Manaiakalani:
The power of Networking within school is a important key to online learning was today's discussion with Whaea Dorothy. Networking is the foundation to the Manaiakalani  Pedagogy Learn, Create and Share.
So I took from Today's lesson was how to implement this type of pedagogy within my class and with my learners on a online platform. At the current moment students a creating their own sites to share a whakaaro of theirs e.g favourite movie, favourite kai, top game, best cartoon. Look forward to their completed sites.

Sites:
Today was all about creating, sharing and gaining feedback from our bubble attaining to our classroom sites.
I found creating buttons was cool but also time consuming so just stuck to the default ones for now and will implement new buttons the more time my learners spend on sites to create new engagement and stimulate learning.
Having Links to safe games was a helpful for sites to create traffic and help improve my learners way of navigating our classroom site.
Having a lot of different pictures to help stimulate and increase engagement also contributed to increasing the learning and support the the idea of creating and sharing.
Checking your Font and pictures for your header was another important key part to designing your Classroom site. Its the first thing anyone see when  they open your classroom site.

Hapara Hot tip:
Really enjoy these sessions, today's tip was all around understanding how our learners use Hapara and how they see it from a learner's perspective.
